Dog Tea Towel
I took an artist residency at the School of Visual Arts in the summer of 2015. I met a lot of talented illustrators from all over the world. These artists encouraged me to do something with these dog drawings made for one of the assignments…. here they are on a screen-printed kitchen towel!
Bird Chair
Papier mache upon a wooden chair as base. Bring the outdoors inside.
Stacking Coffee Cups
The scope of this project included sourcing the stacking mugs, working with artists from V+V and licensing their illustrations, and relying on the hard work and expertise of James Dumstorf for glazing and firing and Lizzy DuQuette for ceramic decal application. If you are in Cincinnati, you can get these at Visionarium: 3054 Madison Rd. in Oakley. The Boxer illustration drawn by Brian Dooley, the black and white drawings by Michael Bartels.
Hedgehog

Papier mache forms
Sometimes I like to make animals out of papier mache, here are some giraffes, llamas, hedgehogs, and a cat.
