Curtis’ new hat
This magnificent hat was a birthday gift to Curtis from Robert and Angie. We celebrated his birthday with a taco dinner and then Curtis’ art opening at A.R.T. Gallery in Wyoming.
Growing Trade Mural
We recently completed the mural across the street from us on Spring Grove Ave. in the Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati. It was a great partnership between Growing Trade Pet & Plant and Visionaries + Voices.Ā The process was very collaborative with many artists and staff involved. The mural features artwork by Ruth Burton (vines), Curtis Davis (animals and insects), and Tyler Spohn (flowers). I was involved in the concept and design and V+V’s exhibition Director Geoffrey “Skip” Cullen lead the painting phase. He relied on his expertise in planning the project, getting the best paint, and managing the crew. We celebrated with a big party and ribbon cutting ceremony.

Start Over Tomorrow While Thereās Still Time isĀ an exhibition showcasing artists who embrace wit and absurdity through ink on paper as a way to better cope with everyday life. This group exhibition features quirky line work and unpredictable texts that inspire us, give us positive energy, and make us smile. I was honored to be shown alongsideĀ Macartney Greer, Kyle Knobel, Nathaniel Russel, and Evan Verrilli.
