With 30 years in the visual communications field, I’ve designed, implemented, and managed a wide array of creative projects. Most recently employed as creative director at Visionaries + Voices, a non-profit arts organization in Cincinnati, OH — I was charged with developing all of the visual communications and managing the branding of the studios that serve artists with developmental disabilities. Equipped with an abundance of unique visual imagery and extraordinary artists to collaborate with, I communicated the mission through postcards, brochures, direct mail announcements, fundraising catalogs, event graphics, social media posts, newsletters, and faithfully represented the organization to local media, business partners, and supporters for nearly 10 years.
I have worked as part of creative teams, and also independently to carry out projects from concept development, design, and client relations to working with commercial printers. I have an affinity for die cuts, fold-outs, and specialty printing. Notable projects include designing the Otterbein Homes annual report for 4 years, the CBA (Community Benefits Agreement) Toolkit with artist Courttney Cooper, ST Media Group’s media kits for 4 magazines, graphic design services to Catholics United for the Poor (CUP), a coalition of six non-profit agencies who give direct services to the poor, and working with prestigious design and strategic marketing firms Wondriska Russo Associates, and Williams and House early in my career in Connecticut.
